Chelsea striker in shocking move away from Stamford Bridge
CHELSEA striker has been linked to move away from Stamford Bridge over lack of adequate playing time under Thomas Tuchel.
Without much doubts, Chelsea football club will be looking to stage a challenge for the Premier League trophy this season under the management of Thomas Tuchel after a busy summer transfer window.
The West London club were one of the few active clubs during the summer as they look to rival the likes of Manchester City and Liverpool for the Premier League title this season.
However, that is quite going to plan as Chelsea are currently occupying the 3rd position on the Premier League table following their latest 3-2 loss away to West Ham United on Saturday noon. And now, Chelsea could be rocked with reports that experienced centre-forward Timo Werner could be on his way out of the club after just 18 months at the club.
The 25-year-old Germany International, who joined Chelsea from Bundesliga side RB Leipzig in 2020 has been in and out of the first-team squad since he made the move.
The young striker was heavily involved for Chelsea last season as he scored 12 goals and created 15 assists in 52 appearances in all competitions for Chelsea.
But then, Timo Werner has found regular game time difficult to come by at Chelsea so far this season and has only scored three goals and provided one assist in the 12 appearances he has made.It is believed that Timo Werner is disappointed with his lack of first-team opportunities at Chelsea this season and according to reports from The Sun, he has been linked with a move away from the club.
The reports further claimed that Timo Werner is attracting interests from several european clubs including Barcelona and Borussia Dortmund and Bayern Munich ahead of the January transfer window.
That said, it remains to be seen if Timo Werner will continue to see out his football career at Chelsea or he will be interested in a move away from the club when the transfer window opens next year.
