After failing to earn maximum points in their last 2 Premier League games, Chelsea finally returned to winning ways after they defeated Aston Villa by 3 goals to 1.Chelsea started the game on a slow note as Aston Villa threatened them on the counter. The host opened the scoring in the 28th minute via a Reece James own goal.
Chelsea equalized in the 34th minute via a Jorginho penalty while Romelu Lukaku gave the Blues the lead in the 56th minute.

Since he joined the Blues, Thiago Silva has proved many times that he’s still a world class defender despite being 37 years old.
Somewhat concerning then that he was forced off just seven minutes into the second half.

After being introduced in the second half, Romelu Lukaku was an instant impact for Thomas Tuchel’s side as his powerful header gave the Blues the lead.Tyrone Mings didn’t enjoy the second half at all as Romelu Lukaku posed a lot of problems for him.
His impressive run also won the Blues a penalty in injury time. Outstanding.
