Virgil van Dijk showers praises on two Chelsea players after 2-2 draw with Liverpool
Super Sunday clash between Chelsea and Liverpool ended in a 2-2 draw in the ongoing English Premier League at Stamford Bridge on Sunday evening.Liverpool took the lead through Sadio Mane with fellow African star Mohamed Salah adding another few minutes later. The Blues came back into the game with goals from Croatian international Mateo Kovacic and Christian Pulisic.
After the game, Liverpool star Virgil van Dijk showered praise on Chelsea stars Mateo Kovacic and Edouard Mendy for their wonderful performance in the match.

“We had to dig deep, especially in the second half they had possession. [Edouard] Mendy had a fantastic game, too. It was an intense game for both sides and I think maybe a draw is the right result.”
