“Leave our club now”, Angry Chelsea fans fume after Brighton’s game
Thomas Tuchel tutored side, Chelsea were held to a 1-1 draw against Brighton on Tuesday night. Thomas Tuchel’s side is currently third on the premier league table despite having played more matches than league leaders Manchester City and second-placed Liverpool FC.
Tuchel is arguably having his worst time at Chelsea as manager following the poor results his team has been posting lately. Having won the UEFA Champions League last season, many pundits backed up Chelsea to win the premier league this season. In fact the Blues started the season well. Sadly, things started going south after their match against Manchester United.Tuchel lined up with a 4-2-3-1 formation last night. His formation was balanced as he had four offensive players starting the game. However, there was lack of creativity in the midfield. Ngolo Kante and Jorginho were not in their best form as the hosts seemed to dominate in the midfield. Again, Lukaku was not as clinical as many expected as he kept on wasting the few chances he got.
Chelsea fans called for Tuchel to be sacked as his tactics seemed not to be working. Drawing against an average team and losing against big teams is never going to win Chelsea the premier league. The Blues now have one win in their last seven league matches. See reactions down below.
