“I was very lucky to train him”, Tuchel speaks on signing Dembele from Barcelona
Chelsea manager, Thomas Tuchel has finally spoken about the ongoing reports of the Blues signing Ousmane Dembele from Barcelona. Chelsea are still looking for additions to their squad after injury concerns for some key players.
Some online reports said that Tuchel could welcome Dembele to Stamford Bridge as Chelsea’s first signing for the ongoing winter transfer window.
The January transfer window still have up to ten days and clubs will have to act fast to beat the deadline in order to complete their deals for their target players.
The German tactician revealed that Dembele was his player at Borussia Dortmund, and that he wish they could have had a longer time together. But Tuchel dismissed the idea of signing him as he claimed he has no idea of what is going on with the player at Barcelona.
According to Fabrizio Romano via his Twitter account said that the Chelsea manager Tuchel on Ousmane Dembélé: “I’ve no idea about his situation with Barça. He’s a very good player when he is in his top level” ? #CFC
“I was very lucky to train him in Dortmund. It was only one year and it should have been longer. I left and he decided to leave”.
