OFFICIAL: Everton unveil Frank Lampard as manager, makes first raid on Chelsea

Former Chelsea manager Frank Lampard has now officially joined Premier League side Everton after announcement and confirmation by the club.Everton have been without a manager for some weeks now after haven dismissed Spanish tactician Rafa Benitez weeks ago.

The Merseyside team haven’t been in the best of form this season, and are currently languishing in 16 position, after picking up just 19 points after 20 games.

In a bid to turn their fortunes around, Everton has now turned their attention to former Chelsea manager Frank Lampard to help transform their relatively young squad.
Recall that Frank Lampard has been without a job for quite sometime, after he was sacked by Chelsea almost a year ago.

The English manager finally landed the job, after being interviewed by Everton on two occasions. He was a favorite for the managerial vacancy alongside Derby’s head coach Wayne Rooney.

Meanwhile, Lampard has made his first raid on Chelsea as Assistant coach with Thomas Tuchel at Stamford Bridge Joe Edwards has left the club to join Frank Lampard’s coaching staff at Everton.
