Chelsea were not busy during the January transfer window as they failed to sign notable players during the transfer business days. But they have the summer transfer window to make amends.
Apart from not able to sign players some contacts are still pending at Stamford Bridge.
Andreas Christensen’s current deal at Stamford Bridge is set to expire in the summer, with it looking increasingly unlikely that the Danish international will commit his long term future at the club.
The 25-year-old’s situation has brought the attention of many clubs across Europe, with Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund reportedly interested in his signature previously.
But there is a growing expectation that Christensen will be wearing a Barcelona shirt going by recent developments.
Erling Haaland update
Borussia Dortmund CEO Hans-Joan Watzke has claimed that striker Erling Haaland’s future with the club will be resolved in the next few weeks.
The 21-year-old is expected to leave Dortmund at the end of the season as the Norwegian has a clause in his contract that allows him to depart Signal Iduna Park for £64million this summer.
