“We are not happy”, Thomas Tuchel tells Chelsea fans about their star boy
CHELSEA were not busy during the January transfer window and to make matter worst some key players could be on their way out of Stamford Bridge.
Thomas Tuchel was responding during press conference and he explains things to Blues fans.
Well, it’s in doubt, no?” Thomas Tuchel told a press conference when asked about Andreas Christensen’s future.
“We hear the rumours and the situation with Andreas is also since many weeks clear and we are not happy about it because I personally and club representatives, we think that it’s best for him to stay and we rely heavily on him.
“He has not signed yet and you cannot not communicate,” he added with a chuckle. “This is also a signal to us and communication from his side is that he did not sign until now so we have to consider the possibility that he leaves us.
“Will we like it? No. Will we live with it? Yes. Things are not personal. Never, never personal. But yeah, this can happen. I have no further information. No information at all.”
According to multiple sources, Christensen has agreed in principle to join Barcelona this summer after his contract with Chelsea expires.
The 25-year-old is expected to sign a five-year deal with the Catalans. He has refused to talk to other Premier League clubs out of respect for Chelsea.
