List of Real Madrid stars missing Champions League clash against Chelsea

Spanish League giants, Real Madrid will take on the defending Champions of UEFA Champions League, Chelsea of England in the Quarter Final first leg on Wednesday night.

Los Blancos arrived in London on Monday for the opening leg of their quarter-final against Thomas Tuchel’s side.

Real Madrid will face a tough test in their quest for a semi-final position, as they will face the winners of last season’s competition as well as the team that defeated them in the semi-finals the year before.

Much has shifted since then, with Carlo Ancelotti’s side thriving in La Liga and gaining a dominating lead.

It’s shaping up to be an exciting two-legged clash, and Real Madrid have finished their penultimate training session, which took place at Stamford Bridge itself.

And Eden Hazard was one of only three players who did not attend the session.

An operation to remove a plaque implanted during a prior procedure was performed on the former Chelsea player earlier this week.

Both Isco Alarcon and Luka Jovic, both injured, are missing from the team.

All of the remaining players who could be chosen were there and in good physical condition for the session.
