Chelsea offer £50m plus player to sign a world-class star boy

Several players have recently been associated with Chelsea. Sergej Milinkovic-Savic of Lazio is the most recent player on their radar, and according to Gazzetta Dello Sport via Sport Witness, the club is “attempting the lunge” for him.

The Serb is content in Rome, but there is enough interest in him that Le Aquile may find it challenging to keep him beyond the summer. The 27-year-old midfielder has already turned down offers from Newcastle United and Arsenal, and the Blues are now the newest team to express interest in him.

The Blues have qualified for the UEFA Champions League, and he wants to play in it. Real Madrid may be his ideal team, but the European Champions are set up in the middle. In addition to just announcing the acquisition of AS Monaco’s Aurelien Tchouameni, Los Blancos signed Edouardo Camavinga last year.

There have reportedly been some preliminary discussions between Chelsea and Milinkovic-Savic.

Igli Tare, the director of football of Lazio, might visit London once more shortly to talk about Milinkovic-Savic. He reportedly discussed the player with the Pensioners during his initial visit. Tare, on the other hand, has been in London since Tuesday night, which has led to Milinkovic-connections Savic’s to the west London side.

However, it’s possible that the claims that Chelsea is prepared to make an offer of €80 million for the Serbian international are inaccurate. Blues boss Thomas Tuchel is thinking about including a player in the trade, although it seems doubtful that Jorginho will go considering his high salary.

Instead, the Blues may present Emerson Palmieri with a €50 million check, who is highly regarded by Lazio manager Maurizio Sarri. Although there has not yet been confirmed, it is a viable alternative and one that might aid in a transfer.

Rafinha is almost secured by Chelsea.

So far this summer, there hasn’t been a new arrival for Chelsea supporters at Stamford Bridge. The club is close to signing Raphinha from Leeds United, so that may happen shortly.

Arsenal also wants the Brazilian winger, although Tuchel’s squad is the favorite to sign him. According to The Athletic, they are willing to pay a sum of more than £55 million.

Also competing was Barcelona. Their dire financial situation has complicated matters, and the Gunners are unable to provide Raphinha with UEFA Champions League football. When Chelsea makes an offer, the Peacocks are likely to take it.
